Stewart Trailers

Every Stewart trailer is built to order for the customer and has a unique serial number. A database is kept of all products with comprehensive information about the specification of every trailer. There is a set of CAD drawings for every trailer produced. If a customer wishes to order a spare part they can do so easily by contacting us and quoting the serial number. We can identify the correct part required from our records.

	Tipping trailers from 11 tonne to 20 tonne capacity. We have a standard range of trailers and from this base we provide a wide variety of options and are therefore able to meet most customer requirements. Every Stewart trailer is designed and built to order. All trailers are fabricated to a very high quality standard and we pay great attention to detail in our designs. Trailers for use with high speed tractors; these trailers are fitted with an air braking system and ABS. Stewart fast-tow trailers may be registered with the Department of Transport and MOT tested.

	Livestock floats for tractor trailers and for commercial vehicles. All floats are fabricated entirely in aluminium (with the exception of some steel parts to prevent wear and tear) giving a strong but lightweight, durable construction. We build floats from 16ft (4875mm) in length up to 13.9m four deck sheep/two deck cattle transporters. The tractor drawn and commercial vehicle floats are different designs. The tractor drawn float is a fully welded container; the pressed side sheets are welded to box section posts at 1150mm intervals, and the floor is welded all round. The tractor drawn floats can be supplied with standard section sheep decks and movable dividing doors or with folding decks, fixed position slam shut dividing doors and a hydraulically operated run up ramp, exactly the same design as we fit in our commercial livestock floats.
