The ECODAILY minibus keeps the traditional characteristics that made the success of the previous model in terms of reliability, functionality, manoeuvrability and comfort in combining them with the advantages of top-level passenger features inside a light commercial vehicle.

Based on the former Daily, Irisbus Iveco offers the new ECODAILY model, in different minibus versions, i.e. Recreo for school purposes, Way for intercity use and Tourys for tourism and shuttle missions.

The engine is particularly environmental-friendly as it goes beyond the Euro 5 standard that will apply in next October, and reaches from now on the EEV emission level (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicle).

Worthy successor of the previous generations which made it possible for Iveco to become the European leader on the market of the light commercial vehicles, the ECODAILY gathers all the advantages that customize the dolphin-branded vehicles, mainly as far as original design, strong environment care and improved safety:

- new front grid with strong identity;

- new dashboard, with new material and colours, that brings to the driver an optimized driving position;

- diesel EEV 3-litre FPT engine (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) available in 2 powers (170 HP and, from Spring 2010, 140 HP as well) using the EGR technology (Exhaust Gas Recirculation);

- ESP as standard equipment on all versions.

Evolutions done on the Agile electronic automatized gearbox, available as an option, improve driving comfort for the driver as far as for the passengers.

The ECODAILY minibus makes ‘wellbeing on board’ a point of excellence. The large glass area ensures an internal brightness and provides outstanding outside view permitting passengers to be part of the surrounding environment. Many types of equipment, such as functional and comfortable seats, luggage racks, air-conditioning, etc. are available on demand to feel good on board. Last but not least, the ample head room enables passengers to move easier in the vehicle when standing.

As an option, all the minibus versions can fulfil the requirement of accessibility for reduced mobility people thanks to built in lift facilities and dedicated wheelchair space.

Thanks to four wheelbases, the minibus ECODAILY range is available in different body lengths up to 8.50 m, offering passenger capacities from 16 to 28 seats.

The ECODAILY minibus, reaching the EEV emission level, ideally completes the Irisbus Iveco range for an even more sustainable passenger transport.
